ARK 666Y - The Devil's Car

2005

For over a year I gathered information from different sources as to the next move I should make to discover whatever is behind the strange occurrences surrounding the vehicle. I spoke to many leading figures in the paranormal world and they all agreed that the weird happenings centre on either the Capri car or the registration "ARK 666Y". They also agreed that the only way to find the truth would be to separate the registration from the car and then see which, if either, has strange things happen to it.
Taking their advice I have now put the registration "ARK 666Y" onto retention, which means it is held at present in my name on a certificate, rather than actually on a vehicle. It has also been suggested that the Capri should now be buried, burnt or blown into a thousand pieces. All seem a little drastic but if the car is the problem then any of them should halt the strange happenings.

On January 12th 2005 I decided to look at all the information I had collected on "ARK 666Y The Haunted Capri" so I spent a few hours browsing over the newspapers etc and viewing the videos I have of the television programmes that have covered the weird story. As I was reading a particular book that features the Capri I sensed movement from the corner of the room where I have “Boris” a three foot high skeleton that I purchased as a joke to place in my house to amuse my friends. On looking up and turning fully towards the corner I have to admit that I saw nothing unusual and did not sense anyone there anymore. However at five o’clock the next morning I was woken up by a couple of thumping noises that seemed to echo around the house. I immediately thought there were intruders in the place and went to investigate. After a few minutes I found that the cause of the disturbance was the old top hat that had been securely on the head of Boris for over six months had somehow fallen off and was now lying on the floor behind him. This is even more remarkable when you realise that the hat is grossly over size for Boris and sits way down over his scull so to fall off it would have to go upwards by about six inches first!!

After a long period with very few strange occurrences suddenly in March 2005 the following two separate incidences happened.

Firstly I had an evening out with a friend, who is coincidentally called Christine, the name of the supernatural car in the famous film of the same name. During the evening we spoke of "ARK 666Y The Haunted Capri" and as always I advised caution in joking too much about the Capri and registration as other people had laughed at the story and they had weird things happen to them soon afterwards. We finished our evening together and Christine drove off in her car that she had explained was very reliable and never gave any problems. The next day I was contacted by a rather bemused Christine who was sitting by the side of the road waiting for a repairman to arrive to fix her broken down car!! It had just cut out completely and glided to a halt with no warning at all. The mechanic arrived explaining that he would purchase the parts needed the next day and then repair the vehicle. But alas the story does not finish there as the next day Christine was contacted to be told that the mechanic had been taken ill and would be in touch soon. After four days she was forced to find another mechanic, as the original man was still bedridden. Could this be "ARK 666Y The Haunted Capri" having revenge on my friend Christine for laughing at the story or yet again just another coincidence?

Secondly in March I visited a friend who lives in the country and he remarked that he had seen me on television the previous week with the Capri. He also started laughing at the amazing things that have occurred and yet again I advised caution in joking too much about the Capri and registration as other people had laughed at the story and they had weird things happen to them soon afterwards. I have to say that when he telephoned me the next day I was not too surprised to hear that his reliable 4x4 all terrain vehicle would not start. But I was surprised when three days later he again contacted me and explained that his exhaust had fallen off, this has happened in the past to a car that came into close contact with the Capri, and he had been having severe headaches since the day we met. He has recently contacted me to add that he logged onto this web site and immediately his computer seized solid and since then it has gone wrong on a daily basis. Also whilst recording a track for me in his recording studio he started getting background murmuring noises on a device called the Phantom Circuit on his music mixing equipment and subsequently the complete mixing board has been returned to the manufacturer to be investigated.

Again I wonder to myself are all these things connected in a supernatural way or just coincidences? There seem to be an awful lot of coincidences surrounding "ARK 666Y The Haunted Capri" and all the people that come into contact with it!!

Since June 2001 the following have also occurred: -

One of my mechanics who worked on "ARK 666Y The Haunted Capri" split permanently from his wife.
My friend who saw the ghostly figure in the car parted from her partner.
Another mechanic who worked on "ARK 666Y The Haunted Capri" parted from his long time partner.
Another person involved with the story divorced her husband after twenty-five years of happy marriage.
I was summoned to attend court as a witness against my ex-partner in a fraud case and I have slowly unravelled a maze of deceit involving her that started a few months after I purchased the Capri in 1997.

The high percentage of relationships failing between people associated with the car is very interesting, as many people who have studied the "ARK 666Y" story have made a comparison between it and Alistair Crowley, a black magician who during his childhood was given the title “The Beast” by his Mother because of his very terrible ways. Crowley actually liked the name and to annoy his Mother even more at the age of thirteen he slept with the family maid in his Mother’s bed. Throughout his whole life he bedded any woman he could and indeed forced himself on some. It is known that at least two women committed suicide because of the actions of Crowley against them. He treated women as objects that could be cast aside at will and then just as easily used by him as he pleased. Little wonder the title “The Beast” with “666” closely associated with it as the Devil sign stayed with him all his life. Crowley had his own followers in a commune he founded and as leader of the group he used his position to sleep with any female follower he wished. His views on women were not very high and his actions caused much distress and broken relationships followed. One expert is of the opinion that the car could be possessed by one of the women followers, which would explain the perfume smell and the figure that has been seen in the car. Another is of the opinion that Crowley himself could be possessing the car.

I have received countless emails informing me of numerous weird things that have happened to people after visiting this web site. Ranging from computers seizing, computers crashing, serious fires straight after logging off to alarms sounding at 3am for no reason the next morning. Also many people have had accidents both trivial and some very serious within hours of viewing this site.

Can it all be coincidence!!

On a more light hearted note since purchasing the car I have had some strange requests from people: -
I was contacted by a religious commune in America who wanted to purchase the car and put their recently departed leader in the rear seat and bury both in a large pit during a lavish ceremony!
I have been approached on several occasions by couples that wish to hire the car for a night of passion to “conceive the Devil’s child”!! Goodness knows what would occur if the resident ghost showed at the very moment of conception!!
